Fix Bluetooth on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update – Mac BootCamp

Just updated my Windows 10 BootCamp partition to Windows 10 Fall creators update, system running version 1709, build 16299.192.

After the update my Bluetooth devices can’t be used anymore, everything is connected drivers are up to date, bootcamp assistant up to date, but my Bluetooth mouse can only be use a couple of minutes, if it gets idle then it will stopp working.

After many hours on big G and trying different stuff, I finally found a fix that worked on my system, try this if you have issue and hopefully this will fix your Bluetooth.

In “Device Manager” expand Bluetooth node

Right click “Bluetooth Radio” | Properties

devicemanager

In the “Power Management” tab “uncheck” the box “Allow the computer to run off this device to save power”

bluetoothprop

This fixed my Bluetooth issue after Fall creators update.

Good luck.
